Heroku, a cloud platform for building and running apps entirely in the cloud, set out to modernize its visual identity to better resonate with developers and reflect its place within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Known for its bold, developer-centric design, the challenge was to refresh Heroku’s look while keeping the original spirit alive. I connected the Brand Design and Product Marketing teams and provided creative oversight to ensure the new identity honored Heroku’s legacy while aligning more closely with Salesforce.

Brand Design’s approach simplifies and refines existing assets while incorporating a darker, more modern palette inspired by developer tools. This cohesive brand system has empowered the Heroku marketing team with greater consistency across all creative assets, streamlining collaboration and driving stronger recognition and engagement with their audience.
